Tom & Daisy: LOVE shoot... A dreamy day in the countryside

Something magical happened this week...the sun came out and the countryside lit up with the beauty of Summer. I can't imagine a more beautiful place to see the first week of Summer in glorious bloom, than Daisy's family home in a quintessentially sleepy Oxfordshire village. Tom & Daisy are both Doctors living in Australia. Daisy jokes that her soft spot for George Clooney from the TV show ER, may have inspired her to become a Doctor. In August she will marry her very own George Clooney to keep, a.k.a. Tom, an emergency Doctor. They kindly showed me their wedding venues and fitted their LOVE shoot in during the day they flew back to Australia. Their shoot took place in the grounds a beautiful Queen Anne Rectory belonging to Daisy's family. I was mesmerised by the endless photo opportunities....from a picture perfect potager garden, a bluebell glade, a buttercup strewn meadow, to beautiful blousey blooms. I even thought I saw Peter Rabbit out of the corner of my eye, and kept having to pinch myself at the sheer magic of the sun filled day. Looking forward to revisiting the grounds for Daisy and George's ...ooops Tom's wedding in August...no doubt the day will be magical too. LOVE x

Every now and then, I am itching to unleash a little creativity in the form of a test shoot, as I feel it important to let one's imagination run wild by becoming involved in a purely creative, non commercial shoot. Collaborating with a team of creatives to conjure up a melting pot of ideas can be wonderful for inspiring the soul and opening up the imagination. Here are a few images from a recent collaboration featuring an amazingly gifted and graceful trained acrobat Siobhan J. The shoot would not have been possible without wardrobe stylist Emma Ewer's gem picks and Harry Andreou's hair and make-up wizardry. Special thanks to Sarah Dally for her kind photography assisting skills. 

With a Dream Catcher theme set, Siobhan decorated her aerial hoop with eye catching feathers and we rolled from there using the New Forest to provide a suitably magical setting. As the sun set, the forest came alive with an ethereal ambiance...real magic of nature... LOVE x
