2016 The year in pictures

As 2016 came to a close, it brought a whole lot of reflection too. After a year marked by political unrest and uncertainty across the globe, some corners experiencing terror and hatred, flicking back through all the weddings I have shot has reminded me of all the love in the world too. This may sound cheesy but seeing so much heartfelt love, celebration,  ear to ear smiles, the union of families and generations, belly laughs plus of course crazy dancing within this round up has lifted my spirits and put a smile on my face! It's rained (a lot!), it's shined, there have been many cute dogs, a fairground, a cinema, lots of country pretty and a smattering of city chic, beautiful beaches, a palace and a cow pat field! It's been another beautiful blur of a year and I feel truly lucky to have photographed such lovely wonderful couples - thanks to all of you for booking me! Huge thanks also to my talented Second Shooters Lorna Stone and Michael Maurerfor being incredible and such fun to work with. Here's to a super new year full of more love, kindness and compassion!

  13. Their in-house catering is remarkable. The wedding venues food was delicious. So many of our guests (including and especially the foodies) have told us it was the best food they'd ever had at a wedding. The service too was impeccable but not overly formal.
