Matt & Kelly: LOVE shoot... Under the blossom!

Let's go running through an orchard billowing with blossom! And that's exactly what we did for Kelly & Matt's LOVE shoot! This time of year can be so very beautiful with Spring in full bloom. It can also be a challenge to coordinate shoots with April showers. Luckily for Matt & Kelly despite the atrocious forecast, the sun shone a soft dreamy light, and we escaped the showers proving such Spring shoots are well worth the risk when the results are so lovely. Not only did we catch the blossom in full bloom, but also adorable broods of ducklings and goslings wadding their first steps into the world - such sweetness! Just like this couple in love. Thanks to Matt for his magnificent athleticism and Kelly for not letting the weather win! Can't wait for your special day... LOVE x

Fi & Matt: LOVE shoot... A romantic picnic and a carpet of bluebells, Cliveden House, Berkshire

What could be more romantic than a champagne picnic complete with homemade scones piled high with juicy jam and clotted cream? Fi, an avid baker, managed to rustle up the most delectable scones on the morning of our LOVE shoot. I had to rustle up my biggest will power not to wolf them down!

The sun shone over the beautiful grounds of Cliveden House, while the bluebells glistened in the sun - Spring you are looking mighty beautiful! The champagne made for lots of merriment amongst the carpet of blue. The weather Gods blessed us with fine light before the heavens opened and we made a sprint for the car!! Let's hoping the sun shines brightly too for Fi & Matt's barn wedding in Buckinghamshire...LOVE x

Sneak Preview: Matthias & Dagmar's elegant Islington Town Hall and J & A Cafe Wedding in London, UK

On Saturday I had the great pleasure of photographing the sweetest couple, Dagmar and Matthias. They held a wonderfully intimate wedding celebration, full of understated elegance and style. Many guests travelled from Germany to witness this happy day. I've been excitedly following Dagmar's never ending Pinterest board, so knew the day would be awash with beautiful mint and blush tones (my favourite) and lovely details, but oh my nothing quite prepared me for so much pretty. Dagmar looked quite the Hollywood starlet from a bygone era. Her statuesque figure and elegant demeanour set her dress off perfectly, a modern day Marlene Dietrich... Matthias and Dagmar decided to meet before the ceremony for a "first look". This is the first time I've captured such an event, and I hope it won't be the last as it was such a joy to photograph pure emotion. The "first look" is traditionally seen in the US, and rarely occurs in the UK. It was moving to watch the couple’s first glances at one another, both looking so beautiful; I think I was just as excited as the couple! After their Islington Town Hall ceremony, everyone jumped on a red route master bus to the J & A Cafe in Clerkenwell for feasting, sipping champagne from vintage saucers and dancing to the 1920s band called Albert Ball's Flying Aces. I hope you enjoy my first few favourite images from the day; I can't wait to work on the rest!   :) LOVE x
